Boy how things have changed over the last three months. Before I came to Perth I had absolutely no idea where any of the suburbs were and if someone previously asked me if Joondalup was North or South I would have struggled to answer correctly. I'm also slowly developing a few street smarts and have even learnt how to use the public transport system even though a three year old could pick it up quickly. Uni has become just an every day thing which is just part of daily life and is gradually getting more interesting. A big step for me personally was finally getting my head around the location of places within the uni as during the first month or so I was a bit of a shambles with directions. I've got into footy at the uni as well which is great fun because its a really good club so this means I've got connections that are outside of college, my course and from back home whic gives a good spread. Also ive begun to broaden my selection of usual nightspots and rather then just hitting up the same areas each week. From just indulging in Clubba, Northbridge, Cap S and the Uni Tav ive extended to places like The Cott, the Leedy and the Floreat. Each and every day i'm getting more comfortable with the idea of living in the city and slowly Im morphing from a country lad into a city one.
