Flying Start 2008 is happening right at the moment. Thursday was an action-packed day and I'll bet there will be some tired people when those hardy souls who elected to stay over at Currie Hall get themselves up this morning. Being a bit of a morning person, I've already packed my bag and headed back over to the office to check out a few things before we get underway for another day.

It was really fantastic to see everyone getting to know each other yesterday and start to find their way around the campus. It's a big place and can be really confusing but at least if you have some general sense of where things are, it all helps. Last night was pretty entertaining. I don't think I do so much running in a whole year as I do in the balloon stomping exercise. And the speed 'not-dating' certainly turned up some interesting facts about everyone...

Friday -we've got some visits to faculties and Schools planned, some timetable and library info session, so should all be good. Time for me to head back to Currie Hall and get some breakfast.
