Link Week is happening next week. All the events are coming together and it looks like its going to be a great week with some good opportunities to meet more students and your lecturers informally in a festival atmosphere.

There are also a few competitions to keep your eye out for, the big one being the ipod competition- entry forms are available from student services reception. You need to enter with a friend, or just another random first year. Entries close this Friday so be quick! The Library are giving away a $200 coop voucher ( a worthy prize given the cost of textbooks) and the gym are giving away 2 one month memberships. 

 During the festival on Tuesday you'll have the chance to win some USB keys, i tunes cards, a Great Escape pass for 4 and some great Escape discount vouchers. I'm on my way to Hillarys to pick them up this afternoon.

 Not to mention the free food and live music
