Refurbishing the Hargrave-Andrew Library at Monash University - The Hargrave-Andrew Library (Building 30, Clayton campus) was recently refurbished, creating a library for the twenty-first century. The Alden Library Learning Commons at Ohio UniversityUniversity Athens, Ohio features (http://www.dgcolumbus.com/projects/libraries/ou_alden):

• Integrated learning environment that combines the Reference department, Computer Lab, and Student Writing Center in a single location open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Lounge seating, open study seating, and various-sized group study rooms provide a pleasant environment for student study, learning and collaboration
• Reorganization of the fourth floor entry level creates greater efficiency for customer services in the circulation area and provides a student copy center, new current periodical area, and casual reading areas
• Phase 2 incorporates a café, instruction lab, and additional group and individual study spaces
