RSS Feeds: Subscribe to node.live content

RSS logo

'RSS' stands for  'Really Simple Syndication', and is a feature that you will see available on node.live content when you browse through the site. RSS is a kind of web feed, which is basically a way for the node website to publish its contents in a way that lets you view it in a reader, or aggregator. This basically means that you can look at stuff that is put up on the node website, without actually having to go to the node website every time you want to see it.

You use your aggregator (or reader) to view RSS content, and this is a good place to start. There are many different aggregators out there, we at node recommend the web-based aggregators google reader, or bloglines, for example.

It is easy to see where RSS feeds are available on node.live, just look for the mini version of the above logo, usually at the bottom of a page:

The main areas of the node website where you can get an RSS feed are the 'blogs' and 'news' sections. Once you have organised your aggregator (if you don't have one already), it's as simple as clicking on the small orange logo (see diagram above), which will take you to a page with the url (web address) for the feed. From here, you either manually copy and paste the url into your aggregator, or if you are using a web-based one like google reader, it will automatically recognise it and ask you if you would like to add it to your reader.

The url to get all blog posts from node.live as a subscription is:
