Hello everyone
Today I want to talk about... no, that's mean: of course I will tell you about the title to this blog entry! I would be as curious as the proverbial cat wanting to know all about the insect and the tea and why on earth I have a waiter in my room bringing me said tea with said insect in it...
I'm a bit lazy on cold winter mornings but if the cost of petrol keeps going up, I'm going to seriously have to think about getting the bike out and riding to uni once semester starts again. I know I should ride more often but there's the whole thing about how much time it takes and carting all the things I need with me. I guess I could just eat less - hmm, I don't know if that's a real option. Rising costs of petrol must be really hurting some people though, even more than me.

not only does the mid-year break mean free parking in yellow bays (good news for all those post grads out there) but it means half the year has gone which often comes as a surprise to some students - particularly first years!
Well it's been a long 12 years, but school is over and finally university has arrived.

Just got back from the 2007 UWA Bike Breakfast held on Riley Oval (oval next to the University Club of Western Australia).
We got there just on 7am, a quick ride (mostly in the dark due to
Daylight Saving) from South Perth. This is my usual trek to uni, but I
have not done it this early in the morning before.
What was special about this ride, is that there was little or no
wind. Often I have a SW or SSW wind, i.e. head wind, so the weather man
was kind to me this morning.
